Well, I'll put this one out there for Critique. I took this photo earlier in 2008, of a local WHARF in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, CANADA.

beautiful- especially love the colors. i might have done a little something to the bright red/orange buoys in the corner, though, they're a little distracting (the only hot colors in the picture). maybe you could change the hue to a blue-ish gray? or just take down the saturation?
lovely image, what can I say.
i'd lover to see the shadows a little lighter.
cheers!

Great Image. It has a good overall lighting to it, but I agree with some of the other comments that suggest some lightening in some spots could help draw the viewers eyes inward. I do however love the reflection of the powerful clouds on the water. It gives the image a glassy look that really holds my interest when I'm viewing it. Nice image.
I disagree abut the red buoys . .. you can see some of those same buoys on one of the boat, and it is the only red colour there . . . the angel between them is fine . . the main problem is that you have too much of a "wall" showing on the left of the buoys in the water . . . and that makes the scene blotchy in that section. That's the only thing.
There is no use talking about perspectives here since I took one of the same location from the hotel balcony there ( The INN at Fisherman's cove, NS). It's in my profile if you want to check it out. . .
As a photo, I don't know that I'd make changes other that global ones, to remain true to the photography category. I would consider cropping, or even desaturating the entire image though.beautiful- especially love the colors. i might have done a little something to the bright red/orange buoys in the corner, though, they're a little distracting (the only hot colors in the picture). maybe you could change the hue to a blue-ish gray? or just take down the saturation?
