Pressure/Sensitivity: Announcing the Wacom Comics Anthology

There's something awesome about helping serve the comic creators who tell stories that span the entire sequential art spectrum. And that something, is everything.

Whether they're used for pencilling, inking, coloring, lettering or simply cleaning up traditionally illustrated scanned artwork, Wacom pens get to touch thousands of pages of comics every month. It's an honor, especially as the creators behind these pens give their all to hit some of the most demanding deadlines in any creative field.

That's why Wacom is proud to announce its first ever comics anthology. Its theme? Pressure/Sensitivity. It’ll feature original, creator-owned short stories by Meredith Gran (Octopus Pie, Marceline and the Scream Queens), Ming Doyle (The Kitchen, Mara), Giannis Milonogiannis (Old City Blues, Prophet, All-New Ultimates) and one more still-to-be announced.

All of the interior comics goodness comes wrapped in a cover by artist Ulises Farinas (Gamma, Judge Dredd: Mega City Two) and colorist Ryan Hill (Terrible Lizard, Stumptown). We're so stoked on their handiwork that we'll be showing it off into 2015 on our Community homepage.

Though you'll have to wait until January to dive into the free, 32-page digital comic, we'll be celebrating its completion bit-by-bit with process shots, creator interviews and more every Thursday here on the Wacom community. Before too long, we'll even be announcing when and where fans can track down a limited edition print version and meet some of the creators themselves. And because we’re in the digital age, it comes with its own hashtag: #WaComics (of course).

Stay tuned for updates presented in the wieldy Wacom way.
