This CRC Industries project was done in Illustrator. This view took 25 hours to draw, but the internal systems: engine, radiator, drivetrain and so on ran just as long. I used a plastic model for reference, taking partially assembled pieces to shoot, then assemble in Illustrator. I'm only sorry I used "Italian Red" instead of metallic red for the model's paint job. It would have made life much more easy. Another job where I ran out of red pixels.

This Illustrator drawing was done for CRC Industries as part of a trade show project. My favorite sections of the drawing are in the seat and the windscreen. The seat uses a Gradient Mesh, the windscreen has various levels of transparency so they could apply the drawing to different backgrounds.

This is an Illustrator project done for CRC Industries. The chrome was the most demanding part of the illustratior, and there are so many clipping paths in this I lost count.

This is an Illustrator project done for CRC Industries. My Wacom ran for 33.5 hours on this one, and I ran out of red pixels twice! Extensive use of Illustrators custom brush and symbols made the work a little challenging, but quicker. The toughest part is all the chrome tubing.

I was given lineart to color by an artist that goes by TravarisRhade to see what I could do. This was the result. This was all done in Easy Paint Tool Sai. Intuos 4 tablet.

This was something I came up with for myself. I had some nice materials around and it had been a while since I had last used the machine shop. Plus I needed a shelf for my bedroom. The large aluminum block acts as a mounting bracket, a decorative element, and as a book end. One book stands against the metal block while another book acts as a bookend, leaning with its cover catching on the frets so it doesn't slip.
