Corey Barker of Master FX Training shows you how you can set up your Wacom Intuos Pro tablet as an editing station for doing motion graphics in After Effects.
Although After Effects doesn’t utilize pressure sensitivity, there is a lot of functionality built into the Wacom pen and the tablet itself that work great for fast and efficient editing of motion graphics. Setting up a few custom shortcuts on the pen and tablet can be terrific time savers, especially for repetitive tasks like making a new a composition, creating specific objects (like solids, cameras, lighting, or text), and the features precompose, and undo. Corey also customizes the touch ring to turn it into a functional and smooth scrub wheel.
