March 24, 2025

Ted Chin, known on Instagram as Ted’s Little Dream, is a digital surrealist and photographer based in San Francisco, USA. He is widely recognized for his exquisite Photoshop composite art, which exudes a dreamy and surreal quality occasionally touched with ethereal nature spirits. His work also often features cloud-based imagery. He recently had a solo gallery show at Jettison Creative in San Francisco – titled “Head in the Clouds” – and Wacom was proud to be a sponsor.

Ted has been working for years as a digital surrealist, known mostly for his mesmerizing photomanipulations and composites. For this exhibit, he took the opportunity of having a physical space to take his work to the next level – into three dimensions. Check out the below video to hear some of his thoughts about the process.

While the exhibit showcased a wide variety of Ted’s work, some of the most compelling work – and seemingly part of the inspiration for the title of the exhibit – is his cloud-based imagery.

Wacom is proud to have supported, and to continue to support, Ted’s work. We were able to provide a Wacom Movink pen display for him to use both to create some of his pieces, and to showcase his creation process during the event. Check out Ted’s Instagram for a wealth of photos and video showing all sides of the compelling exhibition.
