The Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) is the nation’s largest, independent K-12 education technology event in the United States for education and technology leaders to connect and collaborate to leverage technology to drive student achievement and transform the future of education.

Wacom creative pen tablets and displays are being used by teachers around the country to elevate engagement and achievement in the classroom, so we had to be there to connect with other innovators and demonstrate the power of Wacom for Education! Our booth was a gathering place for future-thinking educators to learn what’s possible in the classroom with Wacom. Here’s what went down.

Every purchase of a Wacom IntuosWacom One, or One by Wacom comes with a free three-month trial bundle of powerful education software, and many of those software partners were on-hand at FETC 2023, along with other partners, to showcase just how powerful their software is.

Foxit demonstrated how its software replicates the natural pen-on-paper experience, but digitally. Pear Deck discussed how its drawing tools can make slide decks even more engaging and collaborative. Kami explored how pairing its software with a wireless Wacom tablet makes it possible for teachers to continuously move around the classroom rather than stay stationary. Canva went over some of its best features for use in the classroom. And the Jenallee Show gave some tips and tricks for teacher wellbeing as well as how teachers can level up their inking skills in OneNote.

Wacom also conducted a variety of presentations highlighting some of the ways using Wacom products in the classroom can elevate student engagement and achievement. Wacom shared the power of “teaching untethered,” how using a “creative” tool can be useful no matter the subject matter of your classroom, and how Wacom tablets are highly compatible with Chromebooks and other computers and software.
