It’s been a wild year. 2020 has taught us to hang on to the good times and surround ourselves with friends and family — virtually, that is. Though we won’t be hopping on a plane to sunny Pasadena this year, we’re ecstatic to join LightBox Expo Online and still be able to connect with our artist friends across the globe.
LightBox Expo 2019
Multi-artist sessions
Over the LightBox weekend, we’ll be hosting four, collaborative creative sessions with a selection of artists who push the boundaries in animation, concept art, VisDev and beyond. These multi-artist sessions are made possible thanks to Magma Studio, a brand-new professional-grade application that works directly in your browser. Magma Studio puts the power of instant creativity at your fingertips without the need to install anything on your device, just open a link in your browser and start creating. Magma Studio runs on every device (including Chromebooks) in the world, allows you to collaborate with your coworkers seamlessly and solves the problem of the inability to effectively work with colleagues on currently available, non-remote tools. Not only does Magma Studio autosave your work and keep it safe in the cloud, it makes it a truly living document which can be edited in real-time in a non-conflicting manner by up to 30 people at once.
Here’s a sneak peek of Magma Studio in action:
