The start of a new year in the classroom is always a special opportunity. Students return from winter break refreshed (and sometimes a little rusty), and teachers often find themselves reteaching expectations, rebuilding routines, and reestablishing a sense of classroom community. One of the most effective and enjoyable ways to ease students back into learning is by launching the year with a creative digital art lesson. By beginning January with an open-ended, expressive activity, teachers can create a welcoming environment that encourages imagination, exploration, and meaningful reconnection with the classroom community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creativity works like a bridge: it reconnects students to their own voice while helping them reengage with the classroom culture.
