Then, click <strong>Gaussian blur<\/strong>. Note that the blur strength depends on the size of your drawing, as well as its placement in the canvas (e.g. foreground and background). Erase the area where the focal point is on to bring back the sharpness and have it stand out from the softness around it. Alternatively, you can duplicate the filtered layer and set the duplicate\u2019s color mode to overlay or color dodge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now you have an artwork that looks like it came straight out of a photoshoot!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Besides achieving this effect, you can make use of the features you learned in this tutorial for other ways. For instance, <strong>Gaussian blur <\/strong>isn\u2019t just for this soft effect, but it can also define the distance of elements in the canvas. The <strong>Filter<\/strong> section has more options that you can use in your drawings. And there are plenty of color modes in the <strong>Tool<\/strong> properties for you to try and learn to use. As you begin to learn these features, you will come to find how fun and satisfying it is to draw!
