So we sent her one of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/community.wacom.com\/en-us\/wacom-one-pen-display-and-tablet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">brand-new Wacom Ones<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 the medium pen tablet version \u2014 to get her thoughts and impressions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <a href=\"https:\/\/community.wacom.com\/en-us\/illustrator-brush-study-wacom-one\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/community.wacom.com\/en-us\/illustrator-brush-study-wacom-one\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the last post and video<\/a>, she walked viewers through an Adobe Illustrator brush study. In the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zDB9Ohc6PUw\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zDB9Ohc6PUw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">below video<\/a>, she\u2019s got another tutorial &#8212; this time for how to create some extremely cute, simple illustrations, perfect for Halloween! Check it out below, or read on for the full, text-based tutorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Simple Halloween drawing tutorial \ud83c\udf83 | Wacom One\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zDB9Ohc6PUw?feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this video, we will be using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adobe.com\/products\/illustrator.html\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.adobe.com\/products\/illustrator.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adobe Illustrator<\/a> software and a Wacom One pen tablet to draw three cute Halloween-themed drawings!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Outlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open up your canvas in Illustrator. Using the <strong>Paintbrush<\/strong> tool, start drawing the outline an! By default, Illustrator does a lot of line smoothing, but <a href=\"https:\/\/helpx.adobe.com\/illustrator\/using\/brushes.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/helpx.adobe.com\/illustrator\/using\/brushes.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">you can adjust the settings<\/a> to your liking. I&#8217;m starting with the outline of my pumpkin guy, then the outline and face of the ghost, and the outline and face on a pumpkin spice latte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you have the outlines, it&#8217;s time to use the direct selection tool to clean up the lines and make sure they&#8217;re exactly to your liking. Select all the shapes created, then go to <strong>Object &gt; Live Paint &gt; Make<\/strong>. Then go to properties and change the stroke. You may have to fix a few things depending on your style &#8212; check out the video above for more details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the <strong>Shape Builder<\/strong> tool, select <strong>Live Paint Bucket<\/strong>. You&#8217;ll know that your shapes are able to be painted in if they light up red when you hover over them. Experiment with filling in your shapes with color!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Add details and finalize<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Going back to the Paintbrush tool, experiment with different brush sizes, and add details to finalize your drawing. That&#8217;s it!
