Inspired by the austere beauty of the arctic, and the graceful movement of bears in general and polar bears specifically, the soon-to-be-released animated short film centers around themes of isolation, found family, and the power of creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along with his team, he animated the entire short film on his own using his <a href=\"https:\/\/community.wacom.com\/en-us\/wacom-cintiq-pro-pen-display\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wacom Cintiq Pro 32<\/a>. From inspiration, to research, to storyboards, to rough animation, to finished drawings, to backgrounds, to color and lighting, he showcases his entire process. During that time he worked as an animator or supervising animator on \u201cThe Rescuers Down Under,\u201d \u201cBeauty and the Beast,\" \u201cAladdin,\u201d \u201cThe Lion King,\u201d \u201cPocahontas,\u201d and \u201cMulan.\u201d In 2003 he was co-director of \u201cBrother Bear,\u201d for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature Film. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After \u201cBrother Bear,\u201d he helped to develop several projects but ultimately left Disney to pursue an opportunity back home in Florida. Aaron is currently involved in a number of film projects for various studios.
