Matthew Waynee es instructor de Artes Cinematográficas & Consultor EdTech en el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Los Ángeles. Guionista de producción y profesor con 20 años de experiencia, ha ayudado a construir desde cero el departamento de artes cinematográficas de la escuela Media Arts & Engineering Magnet de la USC.

Ha conseguido más de un millón de dólares en subvenciones y ha establecido colaboraciones con Nickelodeon, DreamWorks, NBCUniversal y Warner Bros. En 2016, tuvo el honor de ser nombrado Profesor Magnet del Año a nivel nacional. También participa activamente en el establecimiento de un nuevo programa de aprendizaje de artes creativas con el Departamento de Educación de California.

Once in Illustrator, Kirk outlines and traces the major shapes of his sketch, then removes the lines and focuses instead on shapes and shadows. ⁣

"I start building in more shadows and more details to help separate any of the shapes that are struggling without that outline. I like my art without a ton of outline, so I prefer the challenge of using some shadows and highlights and stuff to separate them.”⁣
