Exciting news! Wacom Bridge is now available for AWS users in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan. Wacom Bridge is available to customers using Amazon DCV and Amazon AppStream 2.0* at no cost to users until January 2026**.
¿Qué es Wacom Bridge?
Wacom Bridge is a proprietary technology that offers a like-local experience for creatives on remote systems. It ensures creators can work seamlessly from anywhere by allowing the use of local Wacom tablets as if they were directly connected to the host computer.
Plus, Wacom Bridge makes switching between local and remote use of your pen is as easy as selecting an application window, no matter what size. And if you run the same app locally and remotely, the application-specific settings will automatically apply on both systems. One particularly exciting feature is Wacom Inkline – which bridges the gap for any latency created by long distance connections.
La mano de obra creativa de hoy
Historically, the tools that artists needed required them to work from studio offices.
But today’s creative workforce is evolving rapidly. With the skyrocketing demand for artists, talent is now more widely distributed across the globe. Today’s artists desire the freedom to work in environments that inspire their creativity, rather than being confined to a traditional workstation.
To enable a global workforce without hindering collaboration, studios are increasingly required to provide artists with virtual workstations that deliver similar performance and functional characteristics to the ones available to the employees onsite at studio HQ.
Asociación con AWS
Amazon DCV is an industry-leading, high-performance remote display protocol for running graphics-intensive applications like those in the media and entertainment industry that Wacom has been serving for over forty years.
“We’re excited to make Wacom Bridge available to a growing audience of creatives in partnership with AWS,” said Koji Yano, Senior Vice President, Branded Business at Wacom. “The media and entertainment industry’s demand for remote creatives is continuing to grow and it is critical that they have access to same technology they would on-site. With Wacom Bridge, we are confident that creatives will have what they need to do their best work, no matter where they’re located.”
