Wacom closes busy award season with seven prestigious awards for excellent product design
Wacom, pioneer, and leader in intuitive digital pen tablets and displays for creatives, has won a total of seven prestigious awards for its product design. At the end of a busy award season, Wacom is happy to announce the following products for creative students, hobbyists and professionals were awarded:

The new Wacom Cintiq creative pen display is a clear winner as it has won both the Red Dot and iF awards. This new entry level class of creative pen display offers an optimized feature set at a lower price point for a growing group of young art and design students without compromising on ergonomics and ease of use.
Award winning product design is at your fingertips with the Wacom Intuos for students and ambitious hobbyists, who prefer to work on a pen tablet. After winning a Red Dot last year it continues its success story with this year’s iF and JIDA design awards. Another iF award went to the new Wacom Pro Pen slim which combines the professional Pro Pen 2 performance with a slim and sleek form that rests lighter in the hand. And the CG Award, the only popular vote among these awards, went to the Wacom Cintiq Pro for the advantages and benefits it has for a professional 3D workflow.
International recognition for good design
Wacom’s high quality in product design has repeatedly been awarded by renowned institutions around the world. The iF Design Award has been recognized as a beacon of quality for exceptional design for 66 years. The Red Dot Award and its predecessors goes back to 1955. They are two of the most important prizes for product design in the world. The Japan Industrial Designers’ Association each year chooses a small range of outstanding products for their JIDA Selection Awards. And Future Publishers’ organizes the CG Award, a popular vote on artists, products and services that made an impact on creative 3D workflows.
