This year has been an especially tough one for many of us and we’re all struggling to find our path. Canadian filmmaker and artist, Collin Chan, offers some words of inspiration that may help get you through these difficult times and move forward with no regrets. Drawing from the quote “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away,” Collin shows us that while every one of us has our own special gift, it’s important to realize and develop our potential. It might mean stepping back and taking some time for inner reflection, appreciating all the small things that others take for granted.
Please take a moment to enjoy Collin’s gift to all of us this season.

I believe that the true responsibility of an artist is to show society as it really is. There is no value to art without fundamentals and meaning. That is why everything I do is real. From the themes I explore to the mediums I use, every collection that I paint blends realism and the imagination to create a visual narrative that represents a specific aspect of the world we live in.
